ABOUT YALA NATIONAL PARK
Located on Sri Lanka’s southeast coast, Yala National Park is the country’s most famous wildlife reserve and one of the largest national parks in Sri Lanka (1,000 km²). It is also one of the best safari destinations in Sri Lanka. Thanks to its rich biodiversity and beautiful landscapes, it is a must-visit destination for nature and wildlife lovers.

Yala is also famous for its Sri Lankan leopards. In fact, the park has one of the highest leopard densities in the world, making it one of the best places in Asia to see them in wild.
